La tigre e l'acrobata

Hello Everyone!!

Today I am going to tell you about the book that contributed to the fact that I am writing my master's thesis on Susanna Tamaro. The novel is called Tigress and the Acrobat and was published in 2016. 

 
Be warned that this is a summary so I am telling the whole story, if someone wants to read the book by himself, it is better not to read this post. 

Little Tiger is not a tiger like any other: she is curious, she asks many questions, she questions what nature offers her and what her fellow humans simply accept. Little Tiger opens her eyes and discovers the wonder of light. She discovers the wide range of sounds of the Taiga. However, her difference worries her mother. When the mother leaves the little tiger, the heroine sets out on a journey to find her. Traveling through the taiga, she meets a man's house. Her mother always explained to her that man is the most dangerous of all animals and that he should be avoided. Anyway, the tiger makes friends with a man, they start living together in his house, spending time and talking. Their quiet life is interrupted by two circus performers who offer her friend money in exchange for her. When he disagrees, they kill him and take the tiger into slavery. The tiger spends years living and performing in the circus and even likes it. However, she wants to regain her freedom and return to the taiga. One day she meets a little acrobat boy who, like her friend, is able to talk to her. She tells him how she would like to become an acrobat, one day she asks him to open the cage to be able to practice jumping with him. As soon as the cage is open, the tiger escapes. The police immediately start looking for her. Running away, she hides in a canal, where she meets a homeless man who tells her he would like to be noble as a tiger and that he will help her escape. With the help of man, the seekers go in the wrong direction and the tiger manages to get away. She travels thousands of kilometers to reach the taiga, but falls by force. She feels tired. She falls asleep and when she wakes up she is struck by the fact that it is another season, the snow has disappeared, and she is surrounded by beauty. She is thirsty, so she goes to the brook where the lamb grazes, but she doesn't want to eat it. Then she hears the voice of her friend.

Where and how to look for flights

In today’s post we start to organize our journey. When the crazy idea of vacation comes into our minds, we need to think about where, how and when we want to go out into the world. That’s why today I will tell you how to search for flights on the Internet. My favorite and in my opinion the best flight search engine is Skyscanner. Here is the link for the page: https://www.skyscanner.pl . This search engine is very clear and easy to use. I sincerely recommend it. Its three biggest pros are: You can get a preview of whole month which allows you to compare flight prices on different days. You can also choose the cheapest month. You can choose a whole country as your start or destination.             After you click search, you get a list of cities sorted by price: As a destination you can choose 'Everywhere' (it’s my favorite function).             After we click search, we get a list of countries sorted by price: Besides Skyscanner there are many other flight sea

Majorca part 3

Hello Everyone!   Today I'm going to finish telling you about Majorca.   The next day of our trip we had to get up early because we went to visit the caves:  the Caves of Drach . It cost us 13 euros per person, but it is worth spending t he  money. After walking 2km along the path for tourists located in the cave, you finally reach the underground lake. When the whole group gathers, the lights go out and a classical music concert begins on  the boats floating on  the lake.  It  only lasts 15 minutes, but it makes a great impression.  At the end of the day we went to one of the recommended beaches.   On Sunday (another day of vacation) we went to the beach which I liked the most from the whole trip. The beach is next to the town of  Alcudia , I've never seen such white sand and blue water in my life. Then we took the road full of bends to Cap de  Formentor , a beautiful viewpoint.
