ADHD
Hello Everyone!
Another disorder that I want to tell you about is ADHD. ADHD is also known as attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. Its causes are not fully known. It is known, however, that ADHD develops in children up to the age of 7, and although its symptoms subside or may even disappear over time, there are cases of ADHD in adults.
A person with ADHD is characterized by constant problems with maintaining social norms and respecting the rights of others. It is estimated that ADHD affects 3-8 percent of children 7-13 years old.
There are 3 types of ADHD. First: ADHD with a predominance of hyperactivity and impulsivity. The first type usually prevails in boys. They are hyperactive, impulsive, they cannot sit on the bench during lessons. They are impatient, stopping when other people talk. They also do not think about how their behavior influences others, whether it can make someone feel bad. However, ADHD is also associated with attention and concentration disorders. It is these components that usually come to the fore in sick girls. They are characterized by difficulties in maintaining attention on one task, activity, and the ease of being distracted by external factors. Children with ADHD quickly get bored with many activities and conversations. They lose their toys, their things. Of course, there is also a mixed type of ADHD in which all these symptoms are clearly marked. Sometimes it is also difficult to unambiguously assign a given patient to one type, because it may look completely different for everyone.
ADHD can also occur in adults. Such people lead a chaotic lifestyle, they are easily addicted to pharmacological substances and alcohol.
