Atypical

Hello Everyone!

Today I'll tell you again about a very interesting series that I just finished watching. The series is called "Atypical", its main character is a boy from the autism spectrum. The series can be watched on netflix, so far 3 seasons have been released.

I highly recommend this series. He is an 18-year-old boy himself, a typical teenager, goes to school, has friends, has his first job, but his distinguishing feature is autism. Thanks to the series, we get to know his life and feelings, we learn how difficult it is for him to function in our society. Even though some consider him a weirdo, Sam is a great guy. The first season is very much focused on finding love. He himself wants a girlfriend and although he often does not know how to behave, he does not understand his feelings, he wants to have someone close to him.

There are problems in his everyday life that we are often unaware of, too loud music or word-crowds can cause him anxiety.

The series is full of situational jokes, Sam doesn't understand metaphors or sayings, which often leads to awkward situations. The series is really great to watch, one of the best I have watched recently.

I think the family is a huge value in the series. We can see that not always everything is perfect, but the family is always there and in difficult situations faced by the characters of the series, they can count on it. Sam's greatest support, I think, is his sister, who is ready to do anything to help him or be with him as he needs it.

Hello Everyone! Today I think that I will finally finish the topic related to various types of disorders. Today I will tell you about a fascinating book that I started reading, but I haven't finished it yet, I hope I will do it soon. The book is called "Born on a blue day: inside the extraordinary mind of an autistic savant: a memoir" was written by Daniel Tammet. It is a kind of diary that tells us about the hero's life. First I will explain who a savant is, savant syndrome is a special state of mind that makes people with low IQs have above-average mental abilities. All savants have an excellent memory that allows them to remember a lot of information. The very character of the author of the book is extremely interesting. Daniel Tammet knows 11 different languages, is the European record holder in reciting 22 514 digits of the number pi from memory, it took him over 5 hours to give all the digits. Its three biggest pros are: You can get a preview of whole month which allows you to compare flight prices on different days. You can also choose the cheapest month.
