The strangest Christmas customs

Hello everyone! 
I promise you that this is the last blog about Christmas. The blog will tell you about the strangest Christmas customs that we can find in different parts of the world. 

  • A good witch who brings presents - In Italy, an elderly man in a red bucket does not bring Christmas presents, but a very ugly witch with a curved nose, La Befana. The witch brings coal, ash, onion to naughty children. 


  • To the church on roller skates - In Caracas, the capital of Venezuela, you don't drive a car on Christmas Eve. The streets are closed to cars, because everyone rushes to the church on roller skates. Yes, ordinary rolls. 

  • Banana tree instead of Christmas tree - In India, it is difficult to find a Christmas tree, so if you want to celebrate Christmas, you have to combine. Hindu Christians often decorate banana or mango trees with baubles. 

  • KFC bucket for Christmas dinner - In Japan, Christmas is not a religious holiday, but another Western custom known from movies, such as Valentine's Day. On Christmas, Japanese have a habit of going to KFC for dinner on a mass scale. You often stand in line for hours just to eat a traditional Christmas chicken bucket. 
  • Throwing Christmas dishes - In Slovakia, on Christmas Eve, the head of the family chooses one of the dishes and tosses it on the ceiling. The more food stays on the ceiling, the richer the next year will be. 

  • Krampus, the terrible brother of St. Nicholas - When Polish children are waiting for Saint. Nicholas, the Austrian tremble for fear of Krampus. This is a bad brother of Nicholas, who looks like a demon and beats naughty children with his rod.

Hello  everyone !   I hope that the topic of Christmas has not bored you yet, because for today I have another interesting topic related to Christmas. And exactly food. In today’s post we start to organize our journey. When the crazy idea of vacation comes into our minds, we need to think about where, how and when we want to go out into the world. That’s why today I will tell you how to search for flights on the Internet. My favorite and in my opinion the best flight search engine is Skyscanner. Here is the link for the page: https://www.skyscanner.pl . This search engine is very clear and easy to use. I sincerely recommend it. Its three biggest pros are: You can get a preview of whole month which allows you to compare flight prices on different days. You can also choose the cheapest month. You can choose a whole country as your start or destination.             After you click search, you get a list of cities sorted by price: As a destination you can choose 'Everywhere' (it’s my favorite function).             After we click search, we get a list of countries sorted by price: Besides Skyscanner there are many other flight sea

Majorca part 3

Hello Everyone!   Today I'm going to finish telling you about Majorca.   The next day of our trip we had to get up early because we went to visit the caves:  the Caves of Drach . It cost us 13 euros per person, but it is worth spending t he  money. After walking 2km along the path for tourists located in the cave, you finally reach the underground lake. When the whole group gathers, the lights go out and a classical music concert begins on  the boats floating on  the lake.  It  only lasts 15 minutes, but it makes a great impression.  At the end of the day we went to one of the recommended beaches.   On Sunday (another day of vacation) we went to the beach which I liked the most from the whole trip. The beach is next to the town of  Alcudia , I've never seen such white sand and blue water in my life. Then we took the road full of bends to Cap de  Formentor , a beautiful viewpoint. And we ended the day in the town of Sol l er which is famous for growing ora
