This is me...

Hello to everyone!


This is my first blog post, so I’ll start by introducing myself. My name is Marta, I’m 22 years old. I study Italian philology at University of Adam Mickiewicz in Poznań.

I am a very cheerful and outgoing person. Talkativeness, independence and ambitiousness are other characteristics that describe me. I am an italophile. I love everything that is related to Italy: Italian food, history, culture, art and music. In addition, I also have other hobbies such as dancing, singing, swimming, French and many others.


One of my hobbies that is currently developing the most is traveling. I’m mad about this. I adore visiting new places, discovering stories, culture, customs and cuisines of different countries. I have already visited several countries, such as Germany, France, Portugal, Spain, Italy, Croatia, Greece, Ukraine, Lithuania and the Czech Republic. Just preparing a trip is a great adventure. I can spend countless hours planning the travel, looking for accommodation, flights or choosing the most interesting places to see. Therefore, this blog will be devoted to travel issues. I hope you'll enjoy it as much as I do. Of course, I think that from time to time I will write about other things. If something comes to my mind spontaneously, I will gladly share it with you. However, the main and first topic is travel. Initially, I would like to give you some advice on organizing your trip and then tell you about the places I visited.

Where and how to look for flights

In today’s post we start to organize our journey. When the crazy idea of vacation comes into our minds, we need to think about where, how and when we want to go out into the world. That’s why today I will tell you how to search for flights on the Internet. My favorite and in my opinion the best flight search engine is Skyscanner. Here is the link for the page: https://www.skyscanner.pl . This search engine is very clear and easy to use. I sincerely recommend it. Its three biggest pros are: You can get a preview of whole month which allows you to compare flight prices on different days. You can also choose the cheapest month. You can choose a whole country as your start or destination.             After you click search, you get a list of cities sorted by price: As a destination you can choose 'Everywhere' (it’s my favorite function).             After we click search, we get a list of countries sorted by price: Besides Skyscanner there are many other flight sea

Majorca part 3

Hello Everyone!   Today I'm going to finish telling you about Majorca.   The next day of our trip we had to get up early because we went to visit the caves:  the Caves of Drach . It cost us 13 euros per person, but it is worth spending t he  money. After walking 2km along the path for tourists located in the cave, you finally reach the underground lake. When the whole group gathers, the lights go out and a classical music concert begins on  the boats floating on  the lake.  It  only lasts 15 minutes, but it makes a great impression.  At the end of the day we went to one of the recommended beaches.   On Sunday (another day of vacation) we went to the beach which I liked the most from the whole trip. The beach is next to the town of  Alcudia , I've never seen such white sand and blue water in my life. Then we took the road full of bends to Cap de  Formentor , a beautiful viewpoint. And we ended the day in the town of Sol l er which is famous for growing ora
